        Understanding the financial side of your care is an important part of feeling prepared and confident before oral surgery. At Implant & Oral Surgery of Columbus, our goal is to provide clear, upfront information so you know what to expect and can focus on your treatment and recovery.

        Our administrative team is available to answer questions, explain insurance benefits, and review payment options so there are no surprises along the way.

        Consultation and Treatment Fees

        Consultation and evaluation fees are due at the time of service for patients without insurance coverage. For patients with dental or medical insurance, we file insurance claims as a courtesy, and no down payment is required for the consultation appointment.

        For surgical procedures, a percentage of the estimated treatment cost is typically due on the day of surgery. This amount depends on your insurance policy’s deductible and annual maximum benefits. Following your procedure, insurance claims are submitted promptly. Any remaining balance not covered by your insurance within 60 days becomes the patient’s responsibility.

        If your insurance carrier pays more than initially estimated, any credit balance will be refunded to you.

        Insurance and Billing

        Insurance coverage varies by provider and plan. While we assist with claim submission and benefit coordination, patients remain fully responsible for all fees charged by our office, regardless of insurance coverage.

        Most insurance companies process claims within four to six weeks. If your statement does not reflect insurance payment within that time frame, our team is happy to help review your account. Statements are sent for any remaining balance, and prompt payment is appreciated.
